The Saints Scandal Proves the NFL Was Fixed
Dude was listening to other coaches through a listening device.

Knew what the opposition was going to do before they did it.

Why is no one talking about the fact that this proves at least some of the games were fixed?

In addition, who here really believes that this was the only person in the entire league doing it?

      Yes.

By knowing what the opposition was going to do beforehand.

Thus cheating in the game and fixing it because the outcome was already determined by knowing what was going to happen.

That is some loose logic at best, man.

Then baseball is fixed when a runner at 2nd is stealing signals...

            Nothing to see here.
Even if lets say the defense knew New ENgland was running a pass play with 3 wide receivers, you still got to stop the muthafukers.
Plus, NFL QB's audible at will, so while yea it helped a little I dont think the "fix" was in.
And didnt this just apply to their home games?
Bottom line... it's dirty but it's not the reason they won all those games.
The Saints offense is sick, and their D hits as hard as anyone.

If I know what you're going to do before you do it the game is fixed.

Chances of this shit actually have impacted games is pretty slim. It's dirty and against the rules, but the guy would have to know the opposing team's terminology likely as it's highly unlikely that you're going to hear an opposing coach call a play out that says Draw up the middle or something that gives away the exact nature of the play. And then to be able to relay that down to your coach in time for it to impact the play ... slim.

Craziest shit I've been hearing is that there was nothing to gain by hearing the information. If there is nothing to gain, why is there a rule in places against it. shaun payton covers his mouth everytime he calls a play, but there is nothing to gain by knowing EXACTLY what is being said by a coach or coordinator? Give me a break.

Saints right at .500 at home during the time this supposedly happened...

They should have a higher winning percentage if the games were fixed (which they weren't!)
