This is an interesting quote.... depending on your age (and hockey knowledge) there once was an unwritten rule in the NHL to NOT import russian players, because during the cold war Russia demanded payment to the government, (sometimes in the Millions) to allow Russians to come to the US to play hockey. Mind you the money went to the Russian government, not the player, or the teams they were leaving

Well Detroit Sucked so bad, they broke the unwritten rule and flooded the team with Russian imports and ended up stealing a few cups while the rest of the NHL caught up and started getting Russians on their teams too

Watch the video, nobody gave a shit or watched hockey when there was the original 6 unless you lived north of the border, the flyers brought the nation to hockey in the 70s so you can thank them for making the sport it is today, they had to change the rules to stop the flyers from dominating. Flyers are the most significant franchise in the NHL, without the flyers from the 70s you wouldnt have NHL playoff games on three different networks at the same time during these playoffs. I've seen many great teams, played with hall of famers, had the Stanley Cup in my hands over my head. Had the cup over with notable stanley cup winners at family's house. Sat 11th row of the Stanley Cup finals. I have done and seen it all. You unfortunately haven't seen "your" team win shit.

This clearly shows how much you know about hockey. He isnt even top 10. A hot goalie can beat anyone in the playoffs. It's been repeatedly shown over and over. ANA 2003, EDM 2006 etc. If OTT and BOS win, PHI vs BOS would be a close series due to the huge goaltending difference.

If you look at the stats over the past few years, Bryz is definitely top 10. In my opinion, closer to #10 than #5.
