He cuts the coaches legs out from underneath them time and time again. The coach has no power, because the players and other coaches only answer to Davis. Why listen to Lane Kiffen when all you have to do is get Davis to like you?

i dont know whats going on behind closed doors, but it sounds like kiffin took the job and decided he didnt want it anymore, but did want the money. he knew going in how this team works, why take the job is right!

I don't know Kiffin's mindset. But the fact is that there was a strained relationship between Davis and Kiffin, and with Davis' history of micromanaging, I would tend to put the blame on Davis.

Because Al Davis is the number one football douchebag in the world. If you could vote any owner out of the NFL via ownership meetings every owner would vote for AL DAVIS...he's a constant embarassment to them.
