you should play it, i learned alot about hitting by just doing homerwork on batters and pitchers. I think it will definitely aid in your baseball predictions

You get points if your guys get hits and can redeem those points for stuff like MLB.tv or mlb.com gift certs

ya i'm only at 407 cuz I stopped playing for a few months...now I wish I wouldn't have stopped. Didn't think they would add up your points from before the reward program started

yisman, are these rewards points accurate? I was at 407 10 days ago and now I'm at 720 already when my guys weren't even getting that many hits. If you double down, does that double your points too or what?

Today I had Hamilton and Kemp and both got 3 hits (if Kemp doesn't get up again) so each should get 10 points....we'll see what I end up with tho...seems like I've been getting way more than I deserve

Ya, it's definitely giving us extra. Today I'm at 751. I got 31 points from yesterday when I should've gotten 20. Fine by me

it doesn't make sense how it updates and there's no 'history' button that keeps a record of what you're getting credited.

According to the rules, you just get a certain amount of points for players getting 1 hit, 2 hits, 3 hits, etc.

They have bigger prizes for higher hit amounts but good luck getting 4+ hits lol.

Before the points system, I was playing conservative and only picking one player when I got to like 8. After the points, I'm picking 2 every day

they cleared it up finally. if you go to the "how to earn" page, now it shows that you get a lot more for streaks you make. That's why we were getting so many extra

you're right, I didn't notice that. I shouldn't have much from that lately because I haven't been able to put anything together.

Last time I even made 4 was August 4 and I lost the next day. But I had an 11 in July and a 14 early in the season so that got the good bonus points (125 for each 10 gamer).

When I had the 14 gamer they hadn't implemented this yet. I didn't know I was so close to a big bonus (350 points for 15!).

I picked Denorfia and Rutledge. Game finished 11-10. Rutledge somehow didn't get a hit. Streak ends at 8.

Since no one has ever won the grand prize (or even come close. This year with the 2 picks a day no one even topped 40), MLB.com is offering $5.6 million for something even more impossible.

Pick 57 players on Friday to get a hit.

I'd gladly take my odds of hitting 57 in a row over this. Why? Because good luck even picking 57 guys who start. I guess you'd have to wait until the lineups are released and go really quickly.

And then even if you pick 57 who start, your odds of doing this are a lot lower than the already miniscule odds of hitting 57 in a row spread out over the season.

if you select quick pick it selects like 5-10 guys who guaranteed will not be playing.

they act like quick pick is such a great feature. Yeah, if you do it, you may as well not bother entering.

I have 57 but I don't have time to check if every one of them are going to be in the lineup.
