Embarrassing loss. Couldn't threaten all night until the top of the 11th when they get a leadoff double and still were unable to bring him home.

I guess they needed Lee to go 12 or 13 strong.

I would not even look Cliff Lee in the face if I was a Philly batter today. Embarrassing.

Ya because when Cliff Lee pitches well he is awesome, when Matt Cain does it it's the Phillies' hitters fault

both teams batters were pathetic today. Cliff Lee only had 90 pitches going into the last out of th tenth inning, and Cain went nine innings without a scare. Both of the pitchers are elite, but the hitting was bottom of the barrel. Nevertheless the Giants won, so all sins are forgiven on their end.

The Giants lineup is always pathetic. What the hell's the matter with those bums? No Giants team can ever score. They can change everyone in the lineup and get all new players and they still can't score runs. Why is that? Unless their pitchers have a perfect game they have no chance of winning.

The Phils offense is a constant struggle...no long ball threats, except for maybe occassionally Pence. Even when Howard comes back they will struggle to score.

Yes, this is it. The managers should have kept yelling to their batters, "Now you get a hit or I'm taking you out of the game!" I'm sure that would have worked.
