Go to http://pokerbeast.mysbrforum.com/spreadsheet

Then just type in the fields.. It'll look like this as you're entering plays, then just click Save.



Once you click save, there'll be a log of your plays underneath this screen. On the right hand side there'll be buttons to push if it's a Win, loss, or push. And they're color coded (see below).

Cool, got 2 plays on for tomorrow. Hopefully start 2-0.

Right, it's just easier that way. If we started counting dog ML's, guys would start wanting to bet some fav ML's etc etc.

There's much more skill in amassing a meaningful streak against the spread than with all the teases, reverses etc. We will do it like this this go around as the rules say, and in the future see about offering other kinds of contests.

There will be a merchandise shop in the future where you can earn points toward or otherwise have loyalty comps toward goodies, it won't ever be a situation where you need to actually purchase stuff. The merchandise is more a way of saying thank you, not a way of making a buck.

Today is October 1st gentlemen/ladies.

So any play(s) you make today that are -125 or less will count toward your streak! Reminder that if you lose 2 in a row, it doesn't count as negative -2. Each time you lose a pick, it starts back at 0. You can only amass a positive streak for purposes of this contest.

Crazyl, one question. What if someone has Boise St and the over for tonight and one of them lost. Does it go by how they are listed on the spreasheet for consecutive wins? This will also be the case on Saturday and Sunday when people enter multiple picks for football.

Also, I entered my 1st pick and it didn't let me enter 1.1 units to win 1. When I changed it to win 1 unit, it changed the juice from -110 to +100 but didn't notice until I hit save. Instead of deleting which you said in the contest we can't do, I added a note next to the bet. Grading win or loss doesn't matter since spread is the same, but didn't want you to think I got the line showing with the +100 juice.

Say you have 4 wins in a row, your next bet is Mets ML, and Mets Over. If Mets ML wins, and it is listed first, it'll be marked as a win to extend your streak to 5. Then, the streak would of course end with the over which lost.

That sounds like a temporary glitch, just type in how many units you want to risk or win and it should be fine in the future. Let me know if you run into any more problems with this.

Everyone who posted in this thread, will at the end of the month have their records checked to see who had the longest streaks. But yes just grade your stuff correctly, update us with how well you're doing if you want for fun, but ultimately so long as you posted in this thread you'll be on the list of players to check.

Question crazyl. I put down uab which was a push at +3 but the odds on the forum were +3.5. should I count that as a win or push and does the push stop the streak?

Since you recorded the play at +3, it will stand at +3, regardless of the fact that the daily lines (or other books) may have hung +3.5 at some point. So the play is a push at +3, and pushes do not stop your streak.

You aren't required to use the line from any daily contest thread, however anything deemed to be an egregious or grossly off market # will be compared to the closing average on SBR Odds. If anyone is found to have used an imaginary #, their streak will be ended then and there and that play won't count.

You have to make sure you do it in the right order. Enter the league, the pick, the line, the price, only then do you click Units and enter a 'risk' amount. The win amount will automatically convert, but if you do it in a backwards order sometimes it will stay stuck on what you type in.

thanks, I re-entered them. They seem correct now. The problem is also if you try to change the number of units, it won't update the winnings. It goes by whatever the first number you entered is.

You have to add the spreadsheet module to your MySBR front page. Go to the top and click on "Add Content" then select the "My Plays" module. When that is on your front page there will be a small "+" sign in the bottom left corner. Click on that and it will give you the code to copy and paste here.
