I know the Detroit guys are pretty hardcore, but it's good to see these diehard passionate flyers fans. Griz. Stevejk and company have really impressed me with their loyalty and hockey knowledge I thought lacked in USA. Who has the best American fans?? From what I have seen I would have to lean towards Flyer fans.

#2Flyers may have the best home crowd in the entire NHL. Calgary in 04 playoffs is about the only one to top it off the top of my headComment -

Without a doubt we are.
The Flyers operate at 102% capacity for every home game on average. Sometimes it reaches 108%.
Even if there's no Flyers game, if they hold a Flyers-related event, it still sells out.
Been that way forever too.
When the Flyers were the worst team in the league, we still sold out our home games.
Not only that, but we are also among the most knowledgeable hockey fans around.
In addition, we have traditions here in Philly that are unique in the hockey world.
For example, it would surprise many to know that before Flyers playoff games, we don't sing the National Anthem but God Bless America by Kate Smith.
There are many more examples.Comment -

Ill spare you all the one where I went to the eagles game wearing a Seahawks Jersey...even worse: hawks came to town and cleaned their clocks. Even "worser": it was snowing. You havent lived till youve had an entire section of parking lot unleash a barage.

#11This is the only reason I put PHI slightly ahead of Boston on the list. I honestly think PHI fans are the most likely to kick the shit out of visiting fans. It's earned them the reputation as one of the most classless cities in professional sports, but if you're part of the mob it's probably the best.Originally posted by cecil127And dont foget, most likely to kill your ass in the parking lot....rabid type fans.

I am sure. Because NY and Philly are so far apart. Get a clue. I watched and when the Rangers won it was clear there were quite a bit of NY fans present.Comment -

This is in case you were too belligerent to be aware of the game winning goal...
Those must have been fictitious cheers.
what is the answer to this one too? Why was there 47k Flyers fans cheering when he got buried?

Perhaps you didn't understand the first time I said I WAS THERE.
If there were more than 3k nyr fans in attendance I'd be shocked.
The stadium looked like an ocean of orange.
In my section I had 2 rangers fans. In the whole section.
Two.
BTW FYI there was noise being made anytime a play was made.Comment -
