When we plugged in our first HDTV our cable unlocked a bunch of channels for some odd reason, which included NHLHD. So all of the sudden i got to watch more games! But our cable did have NBCSPORTS before we got the hdtv. A lot of times the games are on comcast sports though.

verizon fios fuked up our underground sprinkler system on our lawn by breaking the sprinkler pipes when they dug up our lawn to install our shit. After breaking our sprinkler pipes they used duck tape to try to tape pipes back together to cover it up. never even told us. Tried to get away with it. i get every single nhl game through cable, and there's always at least 20 college football/basketball games on every saturday without buying the package.

and better yet, no equipment on the house and it never goes out when it's rainy/windy.

so cable is expensive (i'm paying $200+/month for cable/phone/internet) but it does some cool things like when someone calls their name and number pop up on the tv

If u live in the Philly network it's on Comcast sports network which is part of the NBC family which is channel 200 on Comcast that's the hd channel not sure of the non hd channel but it's in the 30's

I guess Directv could be a pain in bad weather areas, but I don't have that problem.

If you ever get Directv, ask for the SWiM (Single Wire Multi-Switch) dish. It only has one wire going into the house, for multiple hook ups. This way you don't have 4 to 5 wires wrapped around your home.

i have nbc sports channel and cbs sports channel.

also just got this new sports channel for baseball games called mlb strikezone, where they cut in game from game, but ONLY on tuesdays and fridays ??
its really good though if you want to watch all the games, when the 'interesting' parts come up
