Apparently JJ didnt see the puck bouncing in the Devils crease, that Hartnell missed which would have tied the game 3-3 THEN the bouncing puck that eluded Briere and was hit into an open net for the 4-2 win

Yeah but look how good the Flyers are now and look how young they are. Couturier is 19, Schenn is 20, Simmonds is 23, Voracek is 22, plus throw in Matt Read would lead rookies in scoring this year that probably wouldn't have even got ice time with Richie and Carter here.

That trade was pretty much forced on the Flyers due to the drinking issues of Carter and Richards wasn't it? (still a good trade granted)

No, id rather have those two over an overpriced overrated goalie like bryz, ive never supported getting bryz. I like all the youth the team has for the future but the youth is not gonna get it done for us this year, carter and richards would have given us a shot in the short term.

They need defensemen who can take players off of the puck along the boards and then control the puck and maintain possession. NJ and NY dominate the puck when playing the Flyers.

I agree 100% if you look at the majority of the goals against Bryz this series it was created by a turnover. Kimmo might call it quits, Pronger looks to be done and Matt Carle is a free agent this year. Grossmann, Coburn, and Mesz are the only defense left unless you want to call Gustafson and Bordon
