Kershaw looks like he is in Cy Young form again. Billingsly has developed a 2 seam fastball and has learned to pitch to contact. He is much improved over years past. Rotation drops off after that. Bullpen looks much improved as well. Kemp and Ethier are the only serious offensive threats.

Yet the "fully loaded" Angels dropped 2 to the Twins including 1 under their ace Weaver.

chase Angels for a win and chase Dodgers for a loss... cash money!

just like when NY & Boston were 0-3 and Tigers 3-0, chase the opposite and cash money 1st game for NY & Boston and cash money Tigers to lose in 2nd game of chase

teams aren't settled in enough @ this point to go on 10 game streaks either way

I've seen the dodgers twice in person already this year... They are the real deal. Kershaw is the best pitcher in the game and kemp is the best hitter in the game. That was probably true last year too, the reason this year will be different is that they have better role players and billingsly pitches like an ace number 2 this year.

They win the west. No doubt in my mind.

Agree with most all of this except the Dbacks will probably win the west. Their staff is great and they mash. Dodgers are going to be limited by their hitting this year. Kemp and Ethier can't score 3 runs by themselves every game. Gordon, Ellis, Kemp, Ethier is fine but after that there is a black hole. Rivera might become serviceable but there is no production from 1st, 3rd, and Catcher. Uribe and Kennedy might literally be the two worst hitters in the mlb right now. If they are in the line up the rest of the year the Dodgers are in trouble.

Dodgers were better than their record indicated last year. Dbacks overachieved, their pitching staff especially. Will be close but I see dodgers edging it out. You can also count on the dodgers wanting to make a splash at the deadline to give them a push so expect to add a big bat depending on who is available.

Dbacks staff is for real they are young talented studs. no where close to over achieving, if anything they are just going to keep getting better. especially with the addition of Cahill.

Verlander is the best pitcher in the game

Agree to disagree. I'll take a lefty in his early 20s though. Id think most people starting a team would want Kershaw which is kind of how I evaluate "best."

Dodgers are a fluke. Will end up under 50%

should be 7-0, played the padres and pirates. Not a big deal being 6-1 playing those teams

Thats why you should bet on the padres to win today!

Unless the dodgers break a trend that has never happened which could happen, but i doubt it!!!!!!

I think the padres send the dodgers to a 6-2 record today, but that is just my opinion.
