pies get some guys back this week, but are far from being real healthy...i think this will allow the blues to control the pace more than they have in recent matches...they shouldnt put up the pts. they did in the 1st 2 rounds, but i think OVER is again the play for us boyz ...

After the 1st Q, i thought carlton would fade because they were running hard but credit to them they are looking very good. The loss of luke ball is a big one but thats no excuse. After the 2nd i thought the same thing i just keep thinking the blues will get tired against a side like collingwood, but, maybe not.

Carlton won't get tired, all these top teams can see out 4 qtrs at full pace these days. Over is looking dodgy though.

Yeah the over is looking quite suss unless the Pies can figure out how to bloody score in the final qtr. I actually hedged out a bit of my over by taking the Blues +1.5 2H only because I figured if the Pies were going to come back they'd have to slow it way down and the 2H o/u 96.5 was too dicey for me. Turns out I should've tried to hedge out of the whole damn thing since this 2H obv hasn't played out how I thought it would. Really expected Collingwood to close the gap. Still lose but at least make a match of it.

Yeah, i was thinking of hedging out of the over as well, but decided against it. Some late goals at in the 3rd help a lot. We only need 6 goals in the final qtr and B365 have total set now @ 204.

Carlton looking great, and fuk it feels good.

As I was typing that the Pies scored which definitely helped. Problem is I have 192.5 for my total. Had such a hectic day that I literally put my bets in right before I posted them in there. On the bright side - not that it matters hopefully - I got the Carlton ML for -110 when I saw others with it at -120, -130. And yeah, Carlton is looking fantastic! So happy about this one

Yeah we're hooped on the total barring a miracle. Looks like a wash for me at 365 and a +0.5x at Sporting thanks to that 2H bet. What are the chances we see another Arizona trip announced this week?

I should've played that damn Carlton ML at Sporting. Didn't realise until a few minutes ago that they have a promo if you play the ML in April and your team wins by more than 30pts, they'll give you a 20% bonus. I at least could've made $20 off that instead of eating a bit of juice.

If I was a sharper gambler, I'd be laying down some big bucks to make extra money this weekend from Sportingbet with that promo. Even if you just take Essendon and especially West Coast, you're still making what amounts to free money, even with the ML. Especially since some books are refusing to offer the West Coast/GWS ML because they're sick of getting hosed on people fading GWS.

I've played a ridiculous parlay (I call all parlays ridiculous) that I just can't see losing paying +110 - Freo, Richmond, Geelong, Hawks, Bombers.

I'll be on the Tigers -25.5 at $1.85. Can't believe these off numbers on Bwin - like 4 points off regularly. This one is 6 points off some of the Aussie books.

I suspect I'll also be on Bombers tonight.
