    Sportsbook.com and Cake Poker
    Quick question for poker players...

I saw my buddy playing poker the other day and it looked like cake software...I said "you like cake" and he said "im playing on sportsbook.com"

After further inspection, they are the same exact software and people who are playing on SB are also playing on Cake....

So the question would be...Do people that have funds on cake poker have the same liability with funds as the people playing at sportsbook.com? I dont think the accounts are linked, but I can say they are connected through the poker software and are affiliates of each other.

Not sure if I understand the question, but Cake software is used by tons of different poker sites, different sites use it and everyone on the cake network plays together, so you arnt neccesarily playing with people on the same poker room as you. Keeps things legit and busier for players, and rake is given to the book\poker room the player signed up with.

The point is...I can go sit at a table when I am on cake, and play with someone who is playing on sportsbook.com. There are not many places I know of that do this. Yes people might use the same software but not many sites that have people using the same tables from two diffrent sites.

I actually work for a book that has 4 or 5 different poker sites that are all on the cake network.

The answer is no. The network is just that, a network. Individuals bank with their respective sites. The players and their allocated funds connect to the network.
