someone explain this first half line to me

i see denver -9 so i am expecting a first half line of -4.5 or 5 but when i go to wager i see denver -6.5 isnt that a large first half line ofr a-9 game?

Denver's offense starts out very fast so that is why it is probably higher than normal. The 9 for the game is probably catching a late cover by KC. Damon Huard is starting today. He isn't a big time QB but he is 10x better than Thigpen. Chiefs are going to cover this one

Game will be 24-3 for Broncos by HT so -6.5 is a bargain.
