Hardly ever smart to bet against Kershaw. Then you have Kershaw at home AND its opening day AND its the 50th anniversary celebration of Dodger Stadiums first ever game. AND Dodgers are MONEY on opening day at home over the past 13 years or so. AND its the shitty Pirates. Just a horrible bet all around

It was a 1* shot with gravy, and truth be told, had a very real chance of winning.

Gordon, Kemp, and Ethier make that lineup as dangerous as most in the league. Not many lineups out there with 4 or more great hitters. Add Kershaw to the mix and it's not an ideal situation but at those odds not terrible to take a shot, I guess. Still, if you thought that LAD's lineup was weak it's surprising you thought PIT's lineup would do anything against Kershaw.
