that is insane. guys going from closer to starter hardly ever works out. he was a closer for a reason...he has no control of his breaking pitches. wouldn't be surprised if he walks 6 or 7.

not taking seattle cause the rangers can hang 10+ but still this line is ridiculous.

You've never heard of Blake Beavan. He is a Swedish prodigy that was signed by the team 3 years ago. Unfortunately for the Mariners, his swedish team wouldnt release him so he had to stay until this season. He posted a .87 ERA last year with 289 strikeouts in 198 innings.

He is pitching vs a toilet.....He may only go 5 innings but they even won Yesterday
when the Jap folded 1st inning. BA against this guy is unreal but he doesnt have many innings
                I can see the line.

Offense is considered when making a line also.

His WH/IP ratio really isn't bad (1.24) at all, his K rate sucks (about 4 per 9) and does like to give up the long ball.
Here's my stance, unless you have Bob Gibson going against the 1962 Mets, I don't lay -200 + on the outcome of a regular season baseball game, especially in April.

because the rangers can hit homeruns and the mariners have to get 3 hits to get a run.

There's no Carp, Moore, and probably not Montero in the Seattle lineup. That being said, I'm still taking Seattle over the flammable Feliz at that much juice.

Montero's listed as questionable due to tummy trouble. That's why he didn't play yesterday.

closers to starters usually don't work out because it means the team is despite and wont support him. this is not the case, feliz was used as the closer because they needed him up as one. he was always planned to be a starter.

because through 16 innings entering tonights game Feliz's ERA vs the Mariners was 0.00! Now through the 7 scoreless he pitched tonight thats 24 innings that the man has not given up a run to the Mariners...truly amazing!

Feliz sucks. Rangers need an ace and have none. Such a great team but with no ace, the world series will always slip away. Hell, they even had an ace with Cliff Lee and it still didn't work for them.
