Lets say for example, Lincecum, Halladay, Hudson, Santana, Felix etc. Bet only on their teams when they are starting , would that be $$$ at end of season ?
Can betting only on certain pitchers be profitable ?

#4No. Like the above poster said...the books have already cornered these pitchers. Find the diamonds in the rough pitchers who you feel the book makers have under valued and ride them. (beachy, chris sale, hellickson maybe)Comment -

Like KC.
Now, back to the original question, bet the better pitchers first five innings if the better pitchers have a piss poor or even mediocre bull pen.Comment -

#7The answer to the question is YES, but the answer is not the elite pitchers in the league. You need to focus on undervalued pitchers,Comment -

#10yes , but you have to pick your spots . You have to know if the team is a good fastball hitting team or not and if they are good in away games. also early spring games pitchers have big advantage because of cold weather during night gamesComment -

unless a star pitcher does GREAT vs a team, or at home or away stats sway you one direction to focus on good or bad.
for instance greinke has yet to lose a game @ miller park.Comment -

#12You may actually be able to fade the top 5 pitchers for profit. These have got to be the "lox" that people are dumping their rolls on.Walter forgot... when you're desperate's when you got no choice.Comment -
