Not even sure what you're talking about. Personally, I played Michigan +6.5. I guess I assumed UM could field a punt or kickoff without turning the ball over. Clearly that's not the case. But I got the best number, which is all anyone can hope for. If you bet UM +6.5 and the line closed at +4.5 you had a very strong edge, +4.16% approximately. I bet +6.5 (-105) which makes my edge +6.53%

The reality is that the spread was +6.5, it closed at +4.5. We've gone over this before, betting markets become more acccurate closer to game time. If you bet Michigan +6.5/+6 or anything like that, you made a very strong wager.
It's very simple after the fact to say that Michigan sucks...okay, we get that now--point taken, but that's a different reality than the one that existed prior to kick off. Unless you have a crystal ball, it's impossible to know what is going to happen and the current crystal balls we do have for predicting ATS winners (i.e. data modeling, regression, other statistical techniques, etc...) all seemed to indicate that Wisconsin was overpriced and as a result the market corrected for itself.Comment -
