Price of rooms are too steep
Never play there so no comps.

well you could drive the 8 miles to mohegan sun. much friendlier place although they've tightend up big time on comps and perks. they even closed the program stand in the race book and forced the refreshment stand people to sell the forms. also, they won't sell the 1.04 popcorn because they want to sell higher priced concessions.

If the Flagship Inn is still around, it's worth checking out - it's about 15-20 minutes drive away. Not much except a place to crash, but it's usually the cheapest place around and wasn't bad if you just planned on heading back to Foxwoods the next day. Free breakfast stuff put out also - if they still do it.

agree with reload flagship is the place to stay if u aint gonna stay at casino. i remember i had a room at mgm when they first opened i think it was 150. i only live 40 mins away so usually drive back, but we had a softball tourney last yr and stayed at flagship instead of driving back at 6 am sunday.
or it might have been 2 trees inn. or thats at mohegan. either eay they r both cheap.
mohegan brought back poker awhile back and the wait isnt that bad either. think 15 mins is the most i waited

i live about 3 hours away from there. i stayed there last year. dont like it very much. had to wait a few hours to get on a poker or blackjack table. their service is not that good but then again, there is not much competition in the middle of michigan, so they can get away with what they want.
who is talking about michigan ?
