      under 7.5 in milwaukee/cards game.
might be homerish but i like milwaukee in a close match, gallardo is great at home, and so are the brewers. gallardo was 10-2 at home last year.
for dogs i like houston at home vs col.

really like laa over royals even though its -210. and might be the only over i like, kc's offense is going to be top 5ish this year. and kc's starting pitching is garbage so look for them to give up some runs. over 7 easy.

taking Rockies -120 cause the Astros are the Astros

Rays don't know how to score runs yet, maybe take stupid Yanks too?

Weaver always starts out good right? Angels RL +105 is tempting, Pujols will go 4-5 first game

Angels/Royals over. 7 is too low here. Bruce Lee belongs in Kung Fu movies, not the majors.

Rockies don't have that great of a team this year, and their offense is good, not great. Wandy is the key tomorrow, he is above average pitcher. Should have a good game tomorrow.
just do not trust Jeremy Guthrie

seriously he is their opening day starter?

lawl. i don't get why not start sanchez? chen wasn't that bad last year, but angels line-up is going to put up runs. But what is going to put it over the top is the royals offense scoring some runs
they remind me a-lot of the brewers 6-7 years ago, with a great up and coming offense but no pitching.
really am looking for hosmer and mouk to take the next step. esp. hosmer he maybe at top 25 player by years end.
cain is a key guy to watch, was traded in the greinke trade. tore up spring training he isn't going to hit a-lot of hr but he is going to get a-lot of hits.

Chen had one of the more horrific springs in history of MLB. Gave up ten runs in consecutive starts. I do not put much into spring, but that is inexscusable.

lawl i guess. but he was pretty much guaranteed a spot on the team, he may have just been working on a specific pitch or trying something out with his mechanics. you want to test it out in spring. so i don't put alot in bad spring training numbers.

                        Great thread..........

I'm sorta looking at the LA-San Diego game on Friday. Luebke as a small favorite over Billingsley.
The Dog getting a lot of love on the over night...................Will watch this line. Seems a little shady.

Exactly. Look for dogs down the road.

Best team wins around 100 games. That means 62 losses where the opponent was most likely +money.

Remember boys baseball is a marathon. Look for the best #'s. Play within your means and don't chase dreams.

I don't look at lines until the morning... I think clearer after I sleep... Picking games out the night doesn't work I don't care who you are... Emotions need to be non existant to properly pick games.. picking games right after wins or losses for the next day is flat out stupid..

Since the start of MLB season 80% of the games played have offered BOTH sides at a guaranteed profit. Meaning you could have bet both sides and been assured a profit in nearly 40 games. Some more obvious than other to be sure. But still there have been 20 or more games where the prices have been ridiculously low at open and clear buy backs were obvious.

Also for the start of the season when a lot of pitchers are over rated as well as teams, prices havent been too extreme. Other than the Angels and the Rangers line have been fairly reasonable to start. So obviously seeing -110 lines to open are easier to work with than -180.
