I don't count the games in Japan, or the game last night... Today is the REAL opening day.
I'm getting goosebumps boys. The great thing about the start to a season if even if you're an Astros, Cubs, A's, Mariners, etc fan, you start with a fresh start. 162 games to go (for most teams).
There's almost always a surprise playoff team, so even when the Reds were horrible in the early 2000's, I would hold out hope that they would make a run to the playoffs. I'd go on and on about my expectations for the Reds this year, but let's focus on the bigger picture boys. IT'S OPENING DAY!
