Under the radar, no one really talking about them. Teams like that.

Yep, everyone's always on the heat/celts/lakers but mostly about how much they've been losing winnable games. spurs under the radar have a good shot to go far this year

Don't forget OKC, and Bulls. They are front and center in the media too.

Not hating but they should do a better job of showing it.

Spurs were extremely dominant last year in the regular season too.
.... then they got knocked out in first round.

Much deeper bench this year. No guarantees they can get to the finals in the west but no doubt they are one of the top two teams in the west. Parker must stay healthy.

Their Achilles heel ironically enough is lack of defense. One would think Pop will focus on that or maybe you just can't be tough defensively with Parker and the aging dynamic duo of Duncan and Manu.
I wouldnt read a lot into last years one and done playoff run. They have still won 4 titles in the last 13 years. If anything they are going to be a great bet in the 1st round to advance even though it will be a big number to lay.

Lets hope the spurs continue to roll. I have a future $100 @ 15-1 to win the nba finals. I mean hey i know it gonna be hard to come out of the west let alone win it all but who knows they are clicking and have plety of vets and deep bench.

1. Last year Ginobli was hurt and didn't play a single game in the playoffs.
2. Danny Green was almost cut last year and not putting up 18 a game and playing the way he is now.
3. Tiago Splitter was hurt the last two years.
4. No more Richard Jefferson awkwardly messing up plays.
5. Stephen Jackson is back and has helped them win titles in the past.
6. They added Boris Diaw at the end of the bench.
7. They've already destroyed OK before 4, 5, 6 happened.
8. The way they move the ball on offense neutralizes great athleticism and tires out great athletes (The Westbrooks, Wades and Lebrons).
9. Tony Parker is having an MVP year at the peak of his career and has torn apart opposing great PGs this year reminding everyone whos forgotten about him as a top player at the PG position.
10. Duncan has the type of game that ages well...but realizes that his title window is closing...

Spurs are solid. They play well against almost any team composition. They're sort of like a brick wall and just play their system and it works. You are forced to adapt to them. And they react well to you adapting. They are a force to be reckoned with and watch for them to win tonight in a pretty contested battle with Boston holding them to 89 - 80

They should be the first team to start resting players since they probably can't catch the bulls and thunder for overall best record.
