Unlike Illinois, who by their law put the winner on display (for tax purposes no less), Maryland is a state that the winner can claim their winnings anonymously. If she does have one of the winning tickets & is going to claim it for herself, she is an IDIOT for saying anything to anybody about it. if you are in a lottery pool and you buy separate tickets for yourself on the side you have to tell everyone in the pool you did that and show them the separate tickets before the drawing
