Offering different lines to me when I log-in than what is on the page not logged in (refreshed both pages several times to make sure).

I think it might be because I'm in the Kansas area.

The lines you see before logging in are the "Square" lines. If you login and see a different line set, it means they reviewed some of your bets, and decided you are not a complete idiot. There are still a lot of juicy things to bet, but it is not as good as the square line set.

yeah once you take a couple underdogs at -105 over there for decent money they will stick you with their "normal" lines which are still not normal

Ever thought of asking what the line is on the team you DON'T intend to bet on.
Then tell them youve decided to bet on the other team.
I guess you would just end up where you are now. They could still say OOPPS the line has JUST changed again.
if they fudge the number on the visitor say, by .5 points then when you lay your bet on the phone on the home team even if they fudge again by .5 points you still get the middle line?

Yes that's standard. If you ask them if they deal dual lines they make up stories about how "lines are moving all the time" and similar nonsense. The worst part is that they also deal one sided action on smaller markets and props, like you bet a prop, if you bet one side, it goes through, but if you bet the other side, you get "sorry the line has changed" and it moves 10 or 15 cents. So that allows them to essentially deal a 40 or 45c line rather than the 30c they claim to deal.

I am no fan of Bodog/Bovada as they cut my limits down to $50 on props and $500 on straight bets years ago. Their "suspicious betting pattern" form letter that they send when cutting limits is absolutely pathetic.

I've only been with Heritage since Greek transferred all of their U.S. accounts to them and my limits have already been cut by 50% across the board. I'm down to 20% limits @ 5Dimes as well though at least Tony took my call and said flat out he doesn't really want my business.

A little hint: Books like Bovada, Heritage and 5 Dimes don't cut limits of losing players.

I've never understood the hate for bodog/bovada. Unless you only use 1 book, it's great. Almost always has a different line from the others. They have great promotions, a soft poker room, and great lines on dogs. Great value as a 2nd or 3rd book.

Bovada might not be bad if it's one of several books you use. But using it as your main out is a mistake imo. Not nearly enough flexibility and way too conservative of a book with their offerings.

Do they really push 30/40cent lines? Bovada offer 25c lines on NASCAR H2Hs. At 5Dimes they are 30 cents.

Dunno about other markets, but they beat 5 Dimes on those every week.
