Ghosting might mean posting under two handles at once, but if there was a former poster who changed names and suddenly has 3K posts in 6 months that means I don't bother with them unless they tell me who they were

The slap in the face from that phenomena lands hardest on long-time posters like ourselves, Cougs. SBR is so quick to hand those people a new identity and endorse their garbage, all because none of us mean more to them than the losses on their affiliate sheets. You can throw a lot of blanket statements around about posters...addicts, attention whores, story tellers, delusional...but the one that fits best is, sadly, masochists.

We all come here to be part of a community that has no greater ideal than the almighty dollar, and to be treated with no greater regard than is given the average laboratory mouse. We must enjoy the abuse, or be too dumb to accept that seniority in this community is a much lower rank than first-time poster or troublemaker on his sixth handle.
