Has anyone ever actually started a thread in the saloon?

i figure at least 99% of saloon threads come over from players talk . but i think sam odom might have just started a thread in the saloon. not really too amazing to me because sam odom is a weird cat. but has anyone else actually started one there. and why would you do it? thats where threads die
