unless come crazy combination of sequential numbers come up you are not winning alone. And even then odds are still likely multiple winning tickets will be sold.

Everyone who wins tonight is going to have a sad reality check come monday but they will still be a millionaire.

powerball is 2, mega millions is 1

though if you do the powerplay with the powerball then it would be 3 dollars each so you could still have odd numbers.

Mega Millions is what this post is talking about.....not the other crap. It is $1 a ticket in all 41 states this is played in. Jackpot is the largest in human history.

I bought $80 worth (80 tickets). Putting some of my stock profits from Apple Inc., V-I-S-A and M-a-st-e-r C-a-r-d stock to good use.

That being said I tried to get one last $5 ticket in but the guy said "no more" at 11:48 pm ET. I will burn that store down if one of these 5 numbers I couldn't play hits.....

I threw in 10 buck I got the mega ball on 3 of them including one ticket with 3 right plus the meg ball thats around 158 or 157 I think. One had just a mega ball thats 2 bucks, and the other had the mega ball and 2 right that was 10 bucks. 23 is my 'lucky' number but had I doubled up on it I could have had 11K and change on that one ticket, but obviously if youre playing numbers you dont double up on any too often.

Last time it got big I played 5 and got just a mega ball on one quick pick ticket.

So my returns in the lottery arent too horrible.
