I don't think effort is ever a problem w/Murray. It's mind and tactics. With Lendl, the tactics side was supposed to change. I think he still tries to be too cute in matches instead of just playing the game. Mentally, he has said Lendl has helped - but the interesting thing is he hasn't talked about how he's made him better mentally prepared for matches, but rather BETTER in dealing with losses.
