If they stay healthy, Betting on Seattle when they are a home dog this year will turn a profit.

Like this thread's objective. I like the direction that the M's are headed, and they were wise to trade Pineda. Park makes pitchers look better than they really are and the M's have been offensively anemic since the Bret Boone and Edgar days. If I had to pick a winner for each division, it would be:

AL West- Rangers- will be an entertaining race and the Angels have improved on most fronts. Their bullpen is still weak and during the mid to late season, it's going to be their achilles heel. Offensively, their neck and neck with the Rangers, though they get the nod with the rotation--not by as much as most people think. Both classy and well-run organizations that know how to treat their fans right.

                            AL Central- Tigers-

                            AL East- Yankees-
Gardner, Swisher, and the newly acquired Ibanez are very underrated. There's no let-up spot and the Yanks have a decent bullpen, while an iffy rotation--nothing new here. The rotation's health is this team's weak spot. Runner up, Red Sox? Check that, I like Rays to take second in a similar fashion to last season's dramatic ending with the difference being, Selig f'd up the league and the Red Sox will get bailed.

                            NL West- Giants.
NL East- Phillies--most likely one of their last year's of annually clinching this division.
NL Central- Very tough to call, but I like Brewers.
