I like Minnesota over Washington in the NIT semi-final at Madison Square Garden tonight. They have win three straight on the road as underdogs in this tournament all impressively. Washington won 3 at home they play poorly on the road and play in the weak Pac 10. Minnesota's in the BigTen they have played Wisconsin, Indiana. Michigan State and Ohio State 7 of the last 16 games before there run in this tournament.Minnesota a better coached team. Would not be surprised if they win the NIT crown.

I totally agree. My play of the day for certain.

Coach Tubby two a days are paying dividends. This team has bought in and gelled.

This is as close as I'll ever come to betting on the coach v coach matchup. Washington has talent, but it doesn't manage the game well. Away from home, their lack of discipline will be their undoing tonight.

washington gave marquette a very tough game at MSG earlier in the year.....two first rounders on that team and plenty of talent.....they have the potential to play the kind of game that will make you pull your hair out....but they can also play very well

Minnesota 68-67 in overtime. Got most action down at plus 1 the rest at a pick. Was not an easy win. Minnesota blow a 12 point lead with 8 minutes left and a 4 point lead with 23 seconds but prevailed in the O.T. Think they will beat Stanford in title game Thursday as a small dog. GO GOPHERS
