ultimately I don't think it is much affected, and in retrospect, from a PR perspective, jj/SBR probably handled it the exact right way

jj looked terrible for about 24 hours, then the SBR news cycle moved on, and now it is almost entirely forgotten

this is how scandals and PR works boys, this was a textbook case

get rid of the evidence

it is MUCH MUCH MUCH better to look awful for a brief period of time than to have damning evidence hanging around forever

no one remembers anything

it is also why politicians "lie" so much, because after a possible initial period of time where they look really bad, very shortly everyone forgets and votes for them again anyway
