I do many different things. I do automation of software, create java programs, test programs and find defects on them while working with others till the defects are fixed as well as coming up to solutions and completing the solution for easier access to some files for teams in my department and for teams in the other side of the world.

No im more on the tester side. I use Websphere but that's about as close as i get to it.

Yah i dont have a window office, hard to get one of those. but its a decent size office for one person and better than a cubicle although ive never worked at a cubicle before

Cool. I suppose the majority of IBM's software development is purely java these days. Any plans to branch into development? I would imagine that, in general, you would have to be a tester at IBM before becoming a member of production development. Or do you like where you're at or have something else in mind?

i am used to work in a open office where you can just yell across the table to talk to another person. i worked in a cubicle before, real boring...feels sort like a money in a box.
