I am teasing the Miami game with the saints and another teaser with clemson.The Saints should not have a problem against the 49ers,san francisco is having a better year but this is not a great football team and clemson at home is hell for opposing teams and I think the alabama outing was just a bad opener for clemson.The tigers are a talented team that deserves their ranking.

Losing Dante Love makes it a little tougher to call Ball State really safe, but I still like the pick alot.

I'd say Texas, Rice, and Wisc are my 3 fave plays if I had to choose.

I'm a touch concerned this is a trap. Wisconsin is a top 10/15 team and they are playing a Michigan team that beat Miami Ohio ugly and lost to Notre Dame... yet they are somehow only 6 point underdogs here?

Yeah, the feedback has encouraged me. I'm working on my interactive sports show for youtube... it may not be up everyone's alley (the hardcore gamblers for example), but I want to ask some good debatable questions and get some good discussion going on them. Could be fun.

This game will tell me a lot about Hawaii. Yes they've looked like total garbage, but @Florida and @Oregon State for a rebuilding team, what would you expect? This game will be very telling at home against SJS.

Hmm, where are you seeing the 4 TDs coming from? Can't see Oregon State scoring. USC should run the ball a lot to establish the run and keep things simple for Sanchez...

Hard to say due to his size, but he was one of those spark plug types with tons of energy and a wont-be-denied attitude, so I wouldn't be surprised if he eventually cracked in.

I already felt really good about this weekend, and heading into the weekend up 1 - 0 is huge! I usually have to really look hard for some picks but this week they jumped off the page at me like a pop-up book. Hopefully my optimism is well-placed!

Did you watch the game?

Southern Methodist was dropping passes like no one's business, I mean WIDE OPEN, including one "drop" that ended up deflecting into Tulane's hands for a pick. Tulane's secondary was leaving people open and SMU's receivers were just not making the plays. The HB even dropped three straight screen passes! I've never seen hands that bad at any level. Thats why I wrote this off as a loss.

In the 2nd half, they just started catching the balls they were dropping before, and as such, they moved the football well. So yes, I understand why you are frustrated as it looked like an easy cover early, but SMU was NOT outplayed that bad and the final score was a lot truer to how the game looked then the 1st half score was.
