        don`t agree with the maywether comment but bert was a one-of-a-kind boxing character and icon......we need more guys like bert....and less blowhards like larry merchant(who looks like he could have been a stunt double in the movie "leprechaun")......

            Every time I see Merchant, it reminds me of Groundhog Day, he just keeps coming back.
