people forget regular season doesnt mean jack shit. Last time a number one over all seed won? celtics in 2008. before that? Spurs in 2003. Lakers have had 5 championships since 2000, how many times were they number one overall? Once, in 2000. They made the finals 2 other times without even being the top seed in their division.
Thats why i say regular NBA season is a joke, this year is really what it should be. 65-66 games at most. maybe a little longer (time in betwen games) but not much. So these games matter just a little bit. But as it is Chicago with 16 (some teams have 20) games left still has made the play offs so they can coast the rest of the way if they want. Still get at least a number 2 overall seed which is more than enough.Comment -
