    Pinnacle complaint
Loking for opinons on that, what do you guys think?
    Thanks,
    Concorde

Pinnacle Sports- Scared of Professional Action?

I have a question for all professional sports bettors- Have you ever been afraid of having your Pinnacle account limited? Think its not possible? Think again.

My Pinnacle account, which has been active for years, was limited to $50 bets this past January. The message I received was this:

"After reviewing your account, your business has been deemed as undesirable and therefore your limits have been lowered to $50."

In SBR's review of Pinnacle, they claim :

Overall, Pinnacle is a great book for the moderate to larger size internet player. This is the undisputed best book for the professional player, without a close second in sight.

Limit Collars: No- All Action Welcomed

Something doesn't line up here...why is SBR claiming that Pinnacle does not limit accounts from professionals? My account is 100% certain evidence that this is untrue.

The only reason I have yet to bring this to light is I was afraid of losing my Pinnacle account completely. After 4 months of tediously tallying my bets in nice little columns ($50 bet at a time), I've had enough. As of right now, I can get down $50 at a time, 2 minutes apart. So I can get large amounts of money down, but it takes me over an hour in some cases.

Anyone else want to come forward or am I the only one?

    WOW!
    I cannot say anything else.
    ... interesting posts there...
When I see an obvious error I always write to them, but it never came into my mind that Pinnacle can limit someone for such action.

The guy was betting bad lines which might explain the limit.

Never mind limiting your action, Pinnacle should throw your ass out and spread the word that you are a shot taker. Betting on a game with an obvious error line on 10 different occasions tells me all I want to know about you. You're not to be trusted. No wonder Pinnacle has limited your action.

Amazing how some people will try to cheat the book and then complain about them in a public forum when they get caught.

Some people's children have no shame.

This little case aside, I have heard of Pinnacle cutting limits but nothing like $50.

Like I have seen cases where one person will have a limit of, say, $20,000 on something and someone else will have $17,569 on the same thing (I'm just making up numbers but that's the flavor of it).

I've heard it relates to players who bet heavy on lesser sports like Nascar or Arena football. Some kind of formula gets applied to their limits which ends up affecting them across the board.

But it's nothing like $50. To be honest, I couldn't even tell you if I've been limited. Whatever limits I have at Pinnacle are more than sufficient.

Pinnacle is THE BOMB for this professional.

what happened Concorde? Was there a single bet you made or was it simply a series of bets that drew their ire?

I think you're being a bit coy there. When I read the other thread it seems clear the limits were imposed because of repeatedly betting erroneous lines.

I'm a bit surprised that Pinnacle would react that way just for betting bad lines. They can just cancel the bets. If I'm understand correctly, that's what they did. It seems like such small potatoes to me.

But I guess that's where Pinnacle draws the line in the sand. The message is sent and everyone take note: Pinnacle does not tolerate too much betting into bad lines.

This turned out to just be an attempt to promote a website. They posted on multiple of the forums that they were so “professional” that even Pinnacle was scared of them, and oh by the way, we run a website “geared towards helping the player learn how to make cash.”

Quite lame. Should have been immediately relegated to the Promotions forums at all the sites.

That's what I thought as well, TLD. I think they're on the "restricted list" here anyway.
