LouisvilleKid......I have a confession to make.
Deep down inside, I am a closet Louisville Cardinal fan.

Back when I was a 10 yr old kid, the 1980 Louisville Cardinals were every kid's favorite team. The McCray brothers, Lancaster Gordon, and Darrell Griffith were my heroes. For years after that championship, I proudly had a poster of Dr. Dunkenstein (holding a basketball in his lab coat) hanging on my wall.

While this version of the Cards isn't as dear to me as those were, I still have a soft spot for them. (I liked Crum way more than Pitino....and I hate the new uni's )

Good luck in the Final Four, pal. Nothing like cheering on your favorite team late in the postseason.

Rear loaded in the house. How's that whole "trolling-internet-forums-looking-for-acceptance" thing working out for 'ya, pal? Self-esteem still at an alltime low?

I have those posters as well, instead of bedtime stories my dad showed me old VHS tapes of those teams, as a gift a few years back I got them put on DVD....

Why are you obsessed with a college team? Is it the fact that Kentucky doesn't have a pro sports team to rally around? I mean c'mon, some of these 18-22 year olds have talent but the majority are garbage. My point is that although it's college these players are recruited from all around the country. There should be no sense of local pride when most of the players on louisville come from the west/east coast and not the ass-crack of America. Are cardinals even native to Kentucky?

If I wasn't on iPhone, this is where I would insert the laughing-my-ass-off emoticon......followed closely by the guy flipping you the bird.

                        Well played, Deucer.
