RR this is true. Very young indeed. Swans didnt do anything preseason to get me excited here though and would be banking on the Sheedy Effect here and the ability to keep his players level headed and keep this within 80 points or so...

Still not sure if this is a strong enough angle to pull the trigger on though...GL pal and appreciate the input.

Pre season (NAB Cup) is never a good indication of form. It's a training run for match fitness. Don't be fooled by pre-season form. I wouldn't be surprised to see Sydney win by 100+ given the circumstances.

Ordinarily I'd agree but this is the 1st round and I'm gambling on Sydney swans to cough up the ball more than normal due to lack of real match play.
Nearly as much as their opponents due to being a little rusty here.

Couldn't help myself and went +90.5 for half a unit.

Just a small wager to make the action a little more interesting..

Swans don't blow teams out, and Sheedy is a stud coach who gets the most out of the players he has around him, kind of like a Bellamy in the NRL - only play tonight can be on GWS.

demons is certainly a good bet. if they don't win this they will never win. they will be pumped for Jimmy and we all know how well Brisbane go a) in melbourne and b) without jonathon brown. ive penciled in melbourne to win. as for margins its too hard to say round 1/weather permitting.

I've got a small bet on GWS at 90.5+, I think historically alot of these big games that are sposed to be blowouts end up being a lot closer than predicted.

If theres one game GWS will turn up for this year, it will be this one. At least to the extent of not losing by 90...

Yeah for sure brettels. But I also realise its round 1 and no way they will be playing super sharp football.

Just the little things like when a player is trying to take a running mark but the kick is just off target, if only by a foot or so. Good play but not polished.

These kind of errors are what I'm expecting tonight from both sides. GL champ

one of these years, and it might be this year, i don't know, but i will try my damnedest to get into this sport. i looked at some of the lines last year and read about some of the teams but only watched one match. it was geelong vs someone shitty, i can't remember, but geelong was down big and came back, of course. but this sport is really entertaining. i learned a lot about the rules by watching and looking some shit up online during the game. i've probably forgot it all by now but i really enjoyed the match and didn't have anything on it.

the match times are just not conducive to a westerner's hours. maybe i need a lifestyle change to really get into aussie rules.

with that said i'm going to bed. enjoy your near blowout. hopefully it's not too bad!

Gday Tex. Good to see another taking interest in this. Had similar experience with NFL. My 3rd fav sport now behind aussie rules and cricket.

As for lines, I dont really look much into them on most occasions as a result will very seldomly hit on the number.
