    Betting in Vegas
Are cellphones allowed in the land based Vegas sportsbooks? Do these policies differ from book to book regarding cell phones?

Are sheets available listing odds for all sports? Do sheets have betting limits as well as odds?

    Thank you

Cell phones are not policed like in the past in any book I have been in on the strip. Sheets have various odds for multiple sports but do not show limits in my experience.

Sheets are available, but they usually don't have limits and are often not accurate. Cantor books, for example, keep old sheets out and won't list many bets on the board outside of the most major market events. Sometimes there board will show a bet and the number, but not the actual line. Harrah's will keep out ancient sheets and the ticket writers often refuse to tell you what the current line is if you ask, even if the sheet is 3 weeks old. It's a real PITA if you bet stuff other than football.

They basically just want people to look at the sheet and make a bet regardless of whether or not the line has moved.

Just ask the ticket writer for a summary from a certain rotation number to another. They will print out a ticket with current odds on it. I've never had a problem getting updated odds for anything from a ticket writer.

There is no longer a cellphone rule, you just can't be on it at the ticket window/counter.
