Question for Rogue Juror (Gambling Related)
We have Managuas favorite son Ricardo Mayorga fighting in LA on saturday night against Shane Mosley. Is this guy ready to fight or is he planning on mailing it in? Has he been training or hitting the clubs and chasing tail? If you can let us know what the papers and the people are saying about Mayorga's frame of mind, i think it would give us a nice advantage if we decide to bet the fight. Mayorga is a huge dog in this fight, and if he is in shape, definately has a punchers chance. Have a good day!

Mayorga will be happy to get his 2nd place paycheck. I would steer clear.

Lets just wait to see what RJ has to say, Shane Mosley hasnt exactly been exactly the Shane Mosley of old lately. He is very hittable these days, and Mayorga always has a punchers chance if he is in shape, mentally and physically.

Mentally the guy is not there. He's always in a controversy but at this time he's in a hell of finacial trouble. He bought around 10 cars and they are all being repo, his house is being forclosed. The guy is practically broke.

In his last match in November, againts Fernando Vargas there was a huge buzz around him and the possibilty of a win. If I remember correctly he was a +150 dog then, and the bettors were pouring in on him. It was a very bad day for the books. This time around nobody is on the bandwagon, the news are hardly talking about him and more importantly the bettors aren't seeing it.

I bet the squares will be all over him on fight night but I'm not seeing any sharp money. He has been training and I think he will be in shape. I'm personally staying away from it, I don't see any hidden value in him.

Thanks for the info RJ.......... With Mayorga as a 9-1 underdog, add to the fact that he is flat broke and in shape.Im not going to fire away, but at this price, i think he is worth a small bet. Maybe the poor and hungry Mayorga will finally resurface, with his back against the wall.

The only reason why Mayorga made it to the top of the fighting elite ... was that he trained in another country in which he could focus on what was important. Now that hes back in his country he is known and he thinks that is enough for him to bang and drink everything that gets in his way.

Mayorga is a show off ... period.
