Bottom line yes Payton should be suspended but a year is too much. Sad part is the saints will still be a playoff team with Carmichael calling the plays. Sorry but this not your daddy Saints. Roster is deep and talented, we can take a few suspensions on the defensive side of the ball and still be a little better than the rest. If you don't believe, watch , time will tell.

I thought it was a really tough suspension also. I would think that he could slap a suit on this one possibly. Who knows what he will do all of this time he will have also. I am sure he will do something else for a year I guess. It sure seems to be interesting to me of what he will do now since he cannot coach for the whole year now.
