I'm actually 5th but not in great position to stay there from what I can see
I need UNC, and then basically need 2 out of Louisville, Xavier and Florida
If I get one of those plus UNC I might ultimately be able to hang in the Top 10, not sure I haven't looked at all the numbers, but it will be iffy I think
but if all 3 of those guys lose I'll probably get bumped down 50 spots or something
who knows, hope I'm not fukkin jinxing it by posting in this thread!!!

Heritage pool standings, best estimate from scoreboard and contibutors to the thread:
2108 points, 228th place. Picks for the final 4, Ohio State, UNC, KY, Mich. State. Have Kentucky ranked first and UNC ranked second, so if chalk hits moving forward I hope to creep into the 100-200 range and possibly into the top 100.

I think lots of movement to come. there are 925 pts still available, out of the max 3381 that nobody has. about 27% of the pts left, but only 191 max after sunday...I think a 20 - 30 pt swing will be huge for those in the
225 - 700 range. theres only about 44 pts separating nearly 500 people. Maybe H Inside can chime in....

Only 44 pts separate 600 no winner range and solid Money range 150's w payout $100. with even 300th place getiing $50, and 15 games to go, lots of movement left I think to cash in!!

Only 17 points between place 228 and 392. Lots of room for movement.

because most people have them higher than 58. 58 equates to an elite eight loser.

The round actually doesn't count till all 8 games are in, but I actually dropped due to Louisville 43 instead of Mich st 61. Not too likely to cash in going that direction. GO EAGLES! need a comeback in 2nd half or i'll lose another 60pter. You would think 48 with Fla would still be good, but it doesn't appear to be.

in 3rd now, but have Baylor ranked low, that was a pretty big mistake on my part
NEED Xavier, if Xavier wins I'll be in decent position to win the whole thing, if Baylor wins I'll take a big hit, but if UNC wins and then Baylor goes out in the Elite 8 I'll probably be able to stay in the Top 10

thanks pal, I made two big mistakes and one small mistake
big mistakes - not rating Ohio and Baylor high enough, I knew they were good before the tourney, just wasn't attentive to rating them high enough
small mistake was rating UNLV way too high probably
that's one of the key to this format - even if you have a team going out early, make sure you rate the ones you think might make a run much higher than the ones you don't
that's why it's a great format - your opinions are weighted as opposed to all or nothing like most brackets formats
I put Ohio at 18, they should have been at least upper 20s, that was a big blunder on my part, cost myself 20 points there, those are huge, as you can see
also baylor should have been mid-50s, I have them 48, another big mistake. I'll get a little bailed out on that one if Xavier wins, but still a big mistake
but that's why it's a great format, because decisions like that really do matter
and also it's great how the prize pool is too because if you do generally well you will probably get at least something decent
