ELITE 8: Teams that are still getting zero respect with the number....

Happens all the time. Teams keep progressing thru the tourney and they keep on getting thrown a whack line.

Don't remember if it was Butler last year or the year before... but they just kept on throwing a ridiculous number out there and sure enuff they kept on covering and even winning straight up.

Just trying to project forward BEFORE the S16 games.... who would be in the Elite 8 and still getting a ridiculous number.

I don't trust Wisconsin.... but if you look at the line, I think they're getting a fair shake vs Cuse.


You know, other angle I was thinking about was which team is actually the worst team left. Sometimes a fluke draw and elimination of seeds will put a shit team in the S16... think that happened w/ San Diego few years ago.

This might be Xavier. They beat a 7 seed (dog shit ND) and then a 15 seed (Lehigh), to whom they were getting pounded by 18 pts. They are the least deserving and have one of the weakest scheds.


Other angle is weakest #1 seed left.... has to be MSU. Less talent but greater coaching. Good chance Lou comes out of Phoenix and makes it to F4 after beating Marq/Flo. Big East teams for some reason like to squeeze out of the West like Calhoun has done in the past.

I like UC +8. They play good defense, have been playing really well since start of BE tourney, and have wanted to a shot at Ohio State for about 3-4 years. If they're hitting 3's, they very, very likely can win straight up. I guarantee they're chomping at the bit for that game.
