As far as the actual contest goes, if you don't believe in your own capping and you are basing your picks on what other people do, it is still a much smarter move to go against the consensus.

They happened to do well this week so a whole bunch of people win a very diluted prize pool.

But if you're against the consensus on the week they do badly - and there will be plenty of those weeks, believe me - you have the prize money much more to yourself.


But if you're talking about just betting them at the bookie, it might be alright. It will be interesting to see how the tracking goes for the season.
