Ugh. Bynum won't be with the Olympic team unless others drop out. He hasn't made a commitment to the team in the past... alot of guys have senority... and the euro game doesn't suit him at all.

I liked the way they built the world championships team much better than the way they built the Olympic team, though you can always convince more talent to compete in the Olympics. I hope they take that as a cue for this and future teams. What the US does way better than anyone else is defense. Fill the roster with ferocious defenders and have a couple scorers like Durant who can actually demand the ball, just like a real team.

Word is Kobe will start over wade. However Kobe went on record a few months back saying he's fine just being the closer and let guys like Lebron play 90 percent of the game and put him in to finish it.

Usa should win easily. The only few teams that I think could possibly beat USA is Russia, Lithuania and Macedonia. All these teams are hard to predict. Russia has a great coach, leader in Kirilenko and some young decent players. Lithuanians always play better at international competitions than they do during the club season. Macedonia might have been just a one year miracle, but they give all they have. However, all these teams are still going to play in the quallifying tournament so there is no way for all of them to play in the olympics. Other teams are either too weak, or they will be taken seriously.
