Few years back it was even better. Economy has hurt us. Go to a dealing school and go audition at a casino. I have been dealing 11 years though. U might not quite believe it but it takes a while for you to really know how to make money. It's like a sales job outside of actually playing people. Key is you have to find a casino that the dealers keep their own tips. The pool joints suck. People don't tip as much knowing that their tips go to the roosterlicker at the other table who doesn't talk.

Easiest job ever, though it really is kinda stressful because you could make $40 a day for a week then in one day make $1000. So unless you are good with managing your money it is stressful going to work knowing you need to make a certain amount to pay a bill one day.

Oh it is all tips. Well almost all. We only get federal minimum wage for our hourly wagers. I don't even know what it is to be honest. Like $7 an hour maybe? The night your are talking about I made $7200(before taxes) in 2, 30 minute tables from the same guy. This was a couple days after this years super bowl.

Vegas sucks, you don't want to work there. All casino except for maybe Binion's pools tokes. That and you have to work the strip or some shithole casino to start. They make like $40 a day and no chance for real real big days. California is the place to deal. A LOT of Vegas dealers are here now. If you can get a lot of experience and go to like Hard Rock in Vegas than thats good. The top casino's in Vegas are over 100k/yr.

want to add--- when i lived in vegas i knew several people who went to work dealing the next night out of dealer's school. usually graveyard in a grind joint but in 4-6 months they were working the strip
