What's with these coaches not kicking FGs?

The Texans had 4th and 4 early in the third quarter and decided to go for it instead of the FG. They would have been two scores down. Why they did that I don't know and now the Jags go for it on 4th and 2 in the second quarter when they have an easy FG down 4.

New Orleans at end of first half ran four plays near goal line, failed to get in. I have 'em +5.5. They were 7 pts down.

First Hou goes for 2 in the first half...then passes up a chip shot fg in the 3rd on 4th down...then 1st and goal on the 1 and they pass 2 times before passing up another shot at a fg.

Then of course I have the Jags as well and they pass on the points.
