#43yea we should get some serious scoring in that gm..if unc pulls a typically lax attitude Creighton will get theirs and you know heels gonna score..Originally posted by EaglesPhan36It will be glorious to get to Creighton-UNC where there will be less defense and more free flowing basketball. #45Mich St didnt play with alot of energy in the 1st
coach alluded to seeing more energy in the 2nd H
Mich St has another gear or two and I think we see it here like Baylor vs Colorado yesterday later in the game. Made a small play on Mich , just bet the under 1st H I wonComment -

#47MSU is going to have to startknocking down the wide open shots SLU is giving them to pull away. Smart move to sag off Appling, hes been struggling a while. Could see Izzo was leaning towards the smaller shooting lineup to help spread the floor. Look for MSU to push the pace or at least try tooComment -

#57Originally posted by t-wizzleBillikens are a damn good team. I love what Michigan State does with Green and Appling and their great rebounding and defense but this isn't going to be an easy game. St. Louis likes to grind it out with stout defense and I fully expect this game to be a dogfight.
Everyone is enamored with Izzo in March and rightfully so given his track record but let's not overlook what Majerus has done with Saint Louis. The line movement means nothing here. Billikens are the play.
Saints Louis +7.5 -105 (6x)
SLU is lucky they aren't down 30. This was a god awful bet regardless of the outcome.

#58Michigan State starting to figure out St Louies defense
Mich is getting alot more opportunities down low in the paint this half. theyre working StL`s defense over lately

#60Mich stopped doing what was working when Green went to the bench earlier. Settled for too many jumpers. STL got some confidence then and kept it. Mich had them on the ropes and let em offComment -

#61Looks like SLU backers are going to get a generous cover. This is why I don't miss gambling. #62At this point Im rooting for STL to win the game outright. As I said these clinical defensive teams who play for 40 mins find ways more often than not (especially the ones who have no quit in them)
And I admire STLs passion. Georgetown has a great D as well and have other good elements to go far, but look at the difference in the passion and effort STL is showing compared to G-Towns pathetic display earlier todayComment -

Refs just have a keep it close mentality. Didn't want a blowout today.Comment -

#66LOL, if you watched this game and think you're not lucky as hell that Saint Louis is in the game, you should probably never gamble ever again. Even the shots Saint Louis have made have been a little lucky... their players alternate between air balls and nothing but net 3 pointers... I have no money on this game so I can look at it objectively. I actually hate Michigan State so I'm more biased against them if anything.Originally posted by 2daBankif you think MSU was the right pick you shouldnt gamble, now fukk off..Comment -
