Purdue hasn't looked great by any means in the big ten but there a lot of little things I see where the right pieces are falling into place.
Expect there best game of the season tomorrow and a dangerous team going forward.

Big Ten has been killing it in the Tourney so far. If Purdue can limit turnovers, take smart shots, and control the pace they could pull this off. Will have to play a perfect game though

Purdues offense is scary good and efficient. Easily top ten in country.
The problem was their defense but it has been improving steadily.
Kansas will not be able to defend DJ Byrd from behind the arc, one of the better 3 point shooters u never heard of.

I am a Purdue homer and I don't see what the OP sees. This team has been much improved over the later part of the season, but basketball is all about matchups and Kansas is a horrible matchup for Purdue. Purdue has absolutely no answer for Thomas Robinson who will pound it down low with impunity. The only way Purdue has a shot in this game is if they can keep up their ability to score on a consistent basis, and as the SMC game shows us, and has been demonstrated on numerous other occasions this season, this team cannot do that.

Kansas historically comes unglued starting from the 2nd round on. Happened under Roy, and happened under Self many times. Purdue rarely turns over the ball, very disciplined, they don't beat themselves. Kansas only has 1 lottery pick on the team, they need at least 2 to be choke proof. I'll take Purdue +8 all day.

Purdue is awful on the glass and Kansas is one of the best defensive teams in the nation. The only way Kansas doesn't win by double digits is if Purdue gets red hot from behind the arc, otherwise Robinson and Withey will eat them alive inside.

Ku interior d is incredibly strong, however not so much on the perimeter which is where purdue wants to play anyway.. you right ku should have plenty of success inside but purdue shoots a very respectable 37.6% from 3 so think it fair to expect them to shoot well..Pur also number 1 in the nation in protecting the rock so no wasted possessions and good looks from 3 could very well make this a close gm...dont think Pur wins but also feel like it a stretch to lay 8 in this gm with ku....
