Miami taking it to New England.
Up 14-3 midway throught the 2nd quarter. Can they hold on and win here. This would be a huge shocker. Maybe biggest of the year.

It's still early sir. In fact I hope Miami has the lead at halftime so I can take N.E. in the 2nd half.

Would not be that shocking. Miami is an improved football team and this is a Bradyless Pats team and Moss is playing through an injury.

I mean it'd be a big upset of course but nowhere close to upset of the year, come on.

USC, you'd be hard pressed to find another 13 pt road dog this year that will win out right in the NFL. Patriots are undefeated, Dolphis winless, so dont give me the Bradyless sh!t. They are still heads and shoulders above the Dolphins talent wise.

There is no question which team possess the most talent. That being said, I still wouldnt' call it "the upset of the year". Miami always plays them tough. And not for nothing; without Brady, I found this line rather insulting to the Dolphins honestly.

Said it "Maybe the biggest"...key word MAYBE. Once again, there will be less than 5 games this year where a 13 pt road dog wins the game in the NFL. If that many. This will certainly be up there at the end of the year, if the Dolphins hold on.

This is the biggest halftime deficit New England has faced at home this decade.

In the grand scheme of things it isn't too surprising, sure no one expected Miami to win even without Tom Brady but Matt Cassel is a huge downgrade.

Also, l believe teams in desperate situations are far too often overlooked. They can be dangerous. For examples; see this Miami/Pats game, the Bengals/Giants game, and the Panthers/Vikings game today.

That's a good point, Italia. But alot of people expected good things from the Bengals, Vikes, and Panthers this year. No one thought the Dolphins would do anything, even with Parcells in control. Hell, I still think they dont win more than 5 games.

Agreed, they just got fired up by Cassell in the game. If Brady was playing none of them would want to get out of bed in the AM.

I agree, Buddy. I think the Jets are not very good regardless how this game turned out, but this adds a little icing to the cake.

I would agree with that, but Miami is playing with their back against the wall. So I'm not so quick to dismiss New England. Also, no matter how bad the Jets may or may not be, no gambler worth his salt, would bet against Favre on Monday Night Football.

If someone told me Miami would stick 35+ on the board against that New England defense in New England, I would have called the funny farm to come pick them up. Brady or no Brady, the Patriot defense is still one of the best in the NFL. This is amazing what the Dolphins have done.
