If you want to be successful with NBA and win alot more than you lose it`s all about situational betting.

The NBA will never make sense to you if you just go by some kind of power ranking formula in your mind of team A is better than team B, etc .. That rarely matters with nba spreads

its all about situational spots and situational variables. If you just look at it that way, and that way only, the NBA all of a sudden makes tons of sense

Seriously, you must be new to the nba with such ridiculous assertions.

apparently you havent watched a bit of boston this year on the road. They got blown out in toronto and in new orleans and in many other instances played like dog shit on the road. They are an old team pacing themselves in this condensed season, these guys play 4 or 5 times a week (and all that travel and late nights) and if they gave 110% every night in the reg season they`d be dead for the playoffs.

the celtics just played 3 good road games, for them. two in LA and a win in GS the last time out.. they spent TONS of energy in those games if you watched them. An inhuman amount of energy at times. Meanwhile, SAC had a lot of pressure on them from their local media coming into this game. I handicap this shit by studying it and locally they were being hounded by losing 3 or 4 in a row at home on this long homestand of theirs.

this situation favored SAC greatly. They were coming and gunning for a win tonight, meanwhile boston hit their goal of being over .500 on this roadtrip, so it was a predictable down spot.. as they have another game tomorrow night. And you can downplay SAC all you want, they beat OKC at home when OKC really played hard. SAC has young legs and can run up and down the court better than those old geezers on boston can. EVERYBODY who studies this shit knows boston matches up poorly with fast athletic teams. This was a good down spot for them when you put everything together.

When teams go on these long road trips like boston is on (8 game roadtrip), they set goals for those trips. And most of the time its to start the trip well to ensure a .500 or better record on the trip. Boston was over .500 coming into tonight and were content. Had they been 0-3 or 1-2 coming in it would be different, but they were over .500 with 3 good performances in a row. a let down was inevitable

and of course, i dont know why youre shocked that portland covered tonight. In fact, i stated on this board when dantoni got fired (and i had knicks vs port that night as everyone knows), to bet on portland in their first game after mcmillan gets fired. This is because teams cover at an astonishingly high rate in their first game with a new coach. I explained all this a couple days ago. This is the same with hockey as well (i made a killing on the Leafs a couple weeks ago vs montreal with their new coach), and this has been proven for years

Portland was a free gift tonight.. as were the knicks the other night with the new coach. It went way over your head because you look at teams and not situational betting spots

Wagering on the NBA is all about siuational betting, if you cant get that through your head then youll never make consistent money with it. Period

I pounded the Toronto Maple Leafs a couple weeks ago when their new coach coached his first game. The Leafs pounded Montreal on the road 3-1 and outshot Montreal something like 41-20, and dominated them all night.

              leaning knicks

and when that bubba coach McMillan gets canned this season take portland in their first game with new coach

you made one throw away line and all of a sudden you posted it

Go cash another 6 bets you never mentioned after they were already done. Or will you keep avoiding comments everytime someone calls you out on it?

nba is so hard, i never really have any idea if my bet is gonna win. small action bet tonight teaser with the pacers tonight figuring, 'they're pretty good, knicks sort of suck, pacers should hang around'. well, tonight that was totally wrong.
in hockey sometimes you can slam bets feeling pretty confident you will win. baseball you never can, anything can happen. nba is like baseball.

Kings are a D league team without Evans out there and Celtics are going to give up 40+ to them here in the 3rd quarter.
Your completely wrong there...Evans has a -1.9 Roland rating indicating the Kings might actually be BETTER without him. Big mistake if you bet the Celtics because of his injury.
